OHE’s Professor Nancy Devlin has been elected as ISPOR’s incoming President.

The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) has announced the results of its recent elections for Board of Directors positions. OHE’s Professor Nancy Devlin has been elected as ISPOR’s incoming President.

Professor Nancy Devlin, OHE’s Director of Research, has been elected as the incoming President of ISPOR. Nancy’s biographical statement and her ambitions for her presidency, outlined in her election vision statement, can be found on the ISPOR website.

ISPOR is the leading professional society for health economics and outcomes research internationally and is a not-for-profit organisation based in the US. Its mission is to promote health economics and outcomes research excellence to improve decision making for health globally. About the appointment, Nancy said:

I am honoured and delighted to be appointed as President-elect and very much look forward to working with the energetic and highly professional ISPOR team and with my fellow Board members to help ISPOR achieve its aims. As a not-for-profit organisation, ISPOR’s mission – to promote health economics and outcomes research excellence to improve decision making for health globally – is at the heart of all that we do. ISPOR’s success ultimately lies in our having a demonstrable impact in improving science and improving health care decision making.

Also appointed to the Board of Directors in the 2018 elections are:

  • Jalpa A. Doshi, PhD, Professor, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, USA
