Poushali Ganguli
Poushali is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Health Economics at the University of Oxford, affiliated to the Oxford Centre for Emerging Minds Research and the Economics of Population Health Research Centre. She works on the economic evaluation of mental health interventions for children and young people across school, community and global settings, and convenes the Mental Health Special Interest Group of the International Health Economics Association (iHEA).
She has a PhD in Health Economics from King’s College London and an MSc in Global Mental Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is also interested in health inequalities and the economics of mental health in low- and middle-income countries. Her current Wellcome Trust funded project develops and evaluates a digital version of the Friendship Bench, a community mental health programme from Zimbabwe, for people with depression.
