Capturing the Broader Value of Antibiotics

Eleanor is an economist whose primary expertise is innovation and access in areas of global unmet need, specifically vaccines; anti– microbial resistance; and neglected tropical diseases. She has worked extensively on the adaptation of health technology assessment and pricing and reimbursement frameworks to promote innovation and access through comprehensive, equitable and stable incentive structures. Eleanor also researches the challenges digital health technologies pose for these frameworks.
Prior to joining OHE in 2019, Eleanor worked in economic development in Sub–Saharan Africa for 5 years, and she is passionate about the expansion of health technology assessment in the region. She holds an MSc in Health Economics from University College London and degrees in Economics and History from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
