Informal Caring Burden in HTA Series: Webinar 1 – What is carer burden and why is it important in HTA?

In this three-part webinar series, commissioned and funded by Roche, we explore the incorporation of informal care in HTA.

Type

Sponsored Webinar

Date

22/02/23 02:30 pm

Location

Online

To date, incorporating informal care considerations in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) has been relatively infrequent and often inconsistent.

In the series OHE and external experts, including carers, academics and HTA representatives, described the different effects of providing informal care, explored why it is important to consider caring burdens in HTA, discussed current methods and challenges in measuring and interpreting these burdens, and asked where we might go from here.
