Hannah Hussain
Hannah Hussain holds an MPharm degree from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy from the University of Birmingham. As a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), she has prior experience working in NHS primary care settings.
Before joining OHE, Hannah worked as a research associate at the Manchester Centre for Health Economics (MCHE) at the University of Manchester, where she contributed as a health economist on various clinical trials, including a large, multi-national dementia trial.
Hannah has since completed her PhD at the University of Sheffield, within the Sheffield Centre for Health and Related Research (SCHARR). Her research focused on assessing health-related quality of life in dementia populations for economic evaluations. Her thesis involved a range of analytical approaches, such as psychometric evaluations and statistical mapping, with a primary emphasis on addressing inter-rater discrepancies between self- and proxy-reported health-related quality of life assessments in dementia populations.
