Angus Macfarlane
Angus joined the OHE in September 2025 as a Graduate Economist. Before joining us, he completed a BSc in Biological Sciences at the University of Exeter, followed by an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), where he specialised in Health Economics. For his dissertation, Angus conducted a cost-effectiveness analysis of interventions to prevent Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in infants within the Australian healthcare context. His research interests include the economic evaluation of infectious disease interventions, the value of novel health technologies, and the role of innovation in improving health system efficiency and outcomes.
