Kefah Al Qawasmeh
Dr. Kefah Al Qawasmeh is a health economist and policy expert serving as the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Lead at the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi. With a PhD in Health Economics and Policy, she leads initiatives that support evidence-based healthcare decision-making, value assessment, and sustainable access to innovative health technologies. Her work focuses on advancing HTA methodologies, integrating real-world evidence into healthcare policy, and promoting patient-centered approaches to reimbursement and resource allocation. Dr. Al Qawasmeh has contributed to regional and international research on pharmaceuticals, generics, and biosimilars, and actively collaborates with global HTA organizations to strengthen healthcare systems and improve patient outcomes across the UAE and the wider region.
