José María Abellán-Perpiñán

José María Abellán-Perpiñán is Full Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Murcia, Spain. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and has been a visiting researcher at the University of Nottingham. He has over 25 years of experience in health economics research, with a particular focus on health technology assessment, economic evaluation, health preference elicitation, social value in healthcare decision-making, and behavioural economics. His work has informed methodological developments in health technology assessment and healthcare resource allocation in Spain, and he has advised national and regional health authorities, international organisations, and the pharmaceutical industry on health economics and outcomes research.
