Sayuri Rentschler
Sayuri Rentschler joined OHE as Economist in September 2026. She recently completed her PhD in Economics focusing on vaccine hesitancy in Europe, combining behavioural insights with digital innovation to address health misinformation and improve vaccine confidence through grant-funded research. Prior, she supported the funding policy review for a new strategic cycle at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. She is experienced in translating research evidence into actionable policies.
Sayuri also holds an MSc in Health Economics from City, University of London and a BSc in Economics from Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Germany. Her research interests include health behaviours, vaccine policy, and broader global health challenges. She has gained experience across multiple sectors including pharmaceutical, finance, NGOs, and healthcare systems.
