Gayathri Kumar

Gayathri is an economist by training with experience in economic evaluation, systematic literature reviews and market access. She has led company submissions to health technology assessment (HTA) agencies while working in the pharmaceutical industry. During that time, she contributed to health economics and outcomes research in addition to her involvement in the launch and commercialisation of new medicines. She is interested in the HTA and market access policy environment and global health topics, such as antimicrobial resistance.

Her recent research experience includes understanding access barriers and policy solutions for histology–independent medicines; capturing the patient voice in HTA; and challenges in the pricing of combination therapies.
