ISPOR’s 19th Annual European Congress was held in Vienna, 29 October – 2 November 2016. Several members of the OHE team attended and contributed to the conference. This post contains a summary of their activity.

OHE’s annual lecture 2016 will be held on Monday 7 November at the Royal College of Physicians, London. The lecture will be given by Professor Dame Sally Davies on the topic of 10 years of NIHR: Achievements and challenges for the next decade.

The Nobel in Economics was awarded to Oliver Hart and Bengt Holmström for their research on Contract Theory. This blog reviews the contributions of contract theory to health economic issues.

OHE is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Senior Visiting Fellows: Professor David Parkin and Professor Lou Garrison.

The biannual EuHEA Conference was held at the Hamburg Center for Health Economics (HCHE), 13-16th July 2016. The topic of the meeting was “Know the Ropes - Balancing Costs and Quality in Health Care”. Members of the OHE team attended and contributed to the conference; this post summarises their activity.
