Incentivising New Antibiotics: Designing a Value-Based Delinked Pull Incentive Mechansim

Matthew is an economist by training and after completing an MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy with a distinction from the University of Birmingham in 2022, he joined the OHE. He is supporting the prevention taskforce, defining the prevalence and burden of preventative ill health in the UK, and exploring the potential economic benefits of preventing ill health.
His current research interests include cost effectiveness modelling, the economic evaluation rare diseases, innovative technologies, and health policies.
