Whether you are starting out or advancing your expertise, OHE equips you with the tools to navigate the evolving landscape of health economics.
Online educational programmes
We currently offer two free online learning programmes designed to expand knowledge in critical areas of health economics. The first, Economics of Vaccines and Immunisation in Sub-Saharan Africa (EVIA), is available in both English and French and explores the economic principles underpinning vaccine policy and implementation in low-resource settings. The second focuses on U.S. health policy, providing an in-depth look at the Inflation Reduction Act and its implications for pharmaceutical pricing and access. Both programmes are self-paced and accessible online, making it easy for learners worldwide to engage with expert-driven content.

Exploring the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act Program
Free on-demand Programme
Discover the technical details of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and its potential impact on the US health care system and drug development landscape.
What is the IRA? The IRA, signed into law in 2022, represents one of the largest investments in the American economy, energy security, and climate. But what does it mean for pharmaceutical payment and coverage?
Our educational program equips learners with essential knowledge to engage in informed conversations around the IRA:
- Drug Selection and Price Setting: Understand the process starting in 2023.
- Inflation Rebate Provisions: Explore how these provisions affect Medicare Part B and Part D drugs.
- Medicare Part D Benefit Redesign: Learn about cost sharing, premiums, and subsidies.
