Mata Charokopou – 2022 Prize Finalist

Mata Charokopou, PharmD, MSc, Senior Director – Head of Global Payer Strategy & Health Economics in UCB. She is responsible for the development of evidence generation strategies, patient value strategy across portfolio and engagement with payers to ensure patient’s access to the right healthcare solutions. Charokopou has challenged the status quo of economic modelling practices to integrate patient value elements that are not being captured by existing payer value frameworks. Charokopou graduated from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2010, with a PharmD in Pharmacy and she received a Master of Science in Health Economics, Policy and Law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Netherlands, in 2011.
