Dr. James Zackheim, PhD, Vice President – Head of Corporate Strategy and former Head of Patient Access & Pricing in UCB. He is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all aspects ensuring delivery of the best possible solutions to patients living with severe diseases. Dr. Zackheim joined UCB in 2004 and oversaw medical and commercial leadership for the launch of UCB products, contributing to excellent initial launch results through customer insight, relevant clinical data, and forming key partnerships. Known for his creative, innovative thinking, Dr. Zackheim also spearheaded the development, from concept to production, of cutting–edge, patentable medical education e–tools to improve communication between patients and physicians. Dr. Zackheim graduated from the University of Leeds, England, in 1995, with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science. He received a Master of Science in Neurological Science from the University College of London, England, in 1996, and his PhD in Integrative Neuroscience from Rutgers University, New Jersey, in 2003.
