Across the globe, drug shortages are becoming increasingly common across a range of therapeutic areas.
Earlier this year, OHE published a report looking at the Dynamics of Drug Shortages, and will shortly publish research examining the scale and nature of their cost to health care systems and patients. During this free-to-attend Webinar, panellists will provide their expertise and perspectives on the complex contributing factors to drug shortages, their consequences, and how best to design policy solutions to address this global challenge.
Our expert speakers will explore and explain:
- Research regarding the causes and costs of drug shortages, including their impact and who bears those costs.
- The range of international government policy measures and proposals to secure sustainable and resilient medicine supply.
- How we need to move from policies that manage drug shortages to policies that prevent them.
The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session where the audience can submit their questions to the panel.
This webinar has been funded by Organon Belgium BV. External speakers have received no funding to participate.
