OHE Lunchtime Seminar with NHS Improvement Economics Team Members Sarah Karlsberg, Steven Paling and Júlia Esquerré. The seminar will present evidence on where NHS trusts can take practical steps to reduce cancer waiting times. The project won the 2018 John Hoy Memorial Award for the best piece of economic analysis produced by government economists.
OHE is very pleased to announce that associate professor Lotte Steuten will be joining OHE in February as Vice-President and Head of Consulting.
Lotte is currently an associate member at the Hutchinson Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research (HICOR) at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and an affiliate associate professor in the Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (CHOICE) Institute at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is also co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Panaxea bv, a health innovation consultancy firm with offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
OHE is very pleased to announce that Professor Mireia Jofre-Bonet will be joining OHE in April as Vice-President and Head of Research, replacing Professor Nancy Devlin who will be taking up the role of Director of the Centre of Health Policy at the University of Melbourne later this month after 10 years at OHE.
