ABOUT THE OHE PRIZE

2022 marked the launch of the OHE Innovation Policy Prize; a new £40,000 biennial prize fund to celebrate OHE being at the forefront of economics and policy of health and life sciences innovation for the past 60 years.

The OHE Prize is new platform which improves knowledge and understanding around innovation policy for the health and life sciences sector, facilitates the sharing of perspectives across disciplines and countries, and supports the next generation of health technologies.

Join us virtually on the 14 December where the 2022 OHE Innovation Policy Prize winner will present their solution – an original, globally feasible, and theoretically grounded piece of research. You will also hear from our expert judging panel who will discuss the challenges we’re facing regarding ‘fair pricing’ and the broader range of ideas and solutions we received.

Our shortlist, comprising of five entries, are competing to create the most novel, sustainable, and innovative solution to the below challenge:

'How can policymakers design a system to generate fair prices that balances access and innovation throughout the lifecycle of medicines?'

The team who creates the winning solution will receive a £40,000 prize fund.
