Mehmet joined OHE in 2020 – having obtained his MSc in Health Economics from City University London in 2018. Mehmet’s main research interest is around the impact of policymaking on efficient market outcomes and subsequent effect on R&D of innovative treatments. Mehmet is also interested in the economics of health inequalities and has researched this area extensively as part of is MSc Dissertation.
Mehmet comes with experience working in the NHS as an Analytical Consultant – delivering on national transformational programmes as well as experience as a Modelling Analyst within NHS Improvement. More recently, he has worked at Daiichi-Sankyo as an Analyst within the HEOR & Market Access Team.
Mehmet also holds a BSc in Economics and MSc in Financial Economics.
