What we do
Research:
OHE stimulates discussion and debate about health economic and policy issues among academics, policy decision makers and industry executives through its seminar programme and Annual Lecture.
The results of this research are published in peer-reviewed journals, OHE books and briefings which are reviewed by the OHE Editorial Board, and are presented by the team at major international conferences.
OHE undertakes original, independent research on policy implications and economic issues within the pharmaceutical health care and biotechnology sectors.
Consulting:
OHE Consulting provides independent and objective health economic advice to health care and pharmaceutical decision makers, both in the UK and internationally.
OHE’s research programme maintains the team’s intellectual rigour, and ensures the latest thinking and techniques in health economics are used to our clients’ advantage.
Compendium:
The annual OHE Compendium of Health Statistics is the one-stop statistical information source on population and health trends in the UK and the changing finances and structure of the NHS.
The Compendium is compiled independently by the Office of Health Economics, drawing data together from a variety of scattered sources. The disparate data, some spanning more than 50 years, is consolidated into tables and graphs which are quicker and easier to use than most other information sources.
The Compendium is published jointly with Radcliffe Publications.
